Star Rating System

As awarding stars is a very blunt instrument when it comes to reviewing a book you should always consider them in conjunction with the comments I have made in the review. However, below is a basic guide to how I award the stars:

5 Stars – Outstanding
4 Stars – Highly Recommended
3 Stars – Recommended
2 Stars – Reasonable/Worth reading
1 – Personally Unsatisfying

Please bear in mind that these are personal and your opinions may differ. I urge you to read all the books I review and if you feel differently, say so. It all helps the authors.
